Brief History
Canned Web was a concept created in June 2003 by Canned Web President,
Akarin Weatherford.
The concept was simple; assemble a system of tools that would enable
the rapid development high-quality websites to give small and medium-sized
businesses the clean, professional look of a larger organization
at a relatively affordable price. This approach followed a "Best
of Breed" concept where Canned Web integrated various internationally
developed products into this system along with a series of custom
made tools, created in-house, to provide the foundation for this
business model.
Some of these tools used in the day to day operations
of Canned Web are now being used by other web design companies
to aide in business development, project management, and architecture
blueprinting.
In early 2004, Canned Web made two new strategic
partnerships with D&H Distributing Company and Nebutel, Inc.
to provide computer goods and Internet service to existing and potential
customers. With new technology advances in Voice Over IP services
offered by the Nebutel Partnership, Canned Web can now become a
"one-stop-shop" in the convergence of all business and
home communication and technology needs.
